CROSSx DEX Fee System: Transparent and Efficient Asset Interaction

As a decentralized exchange (DEX), CROSSx DEX prioritizes the blockchain principles of transparency and efficiency.
The platform does not custody user assets—all executions are securely handled via smart contracts, ensuring a reliable and trustless environment.

The fee model is designed to be simple and easy to understand, eliminating unnecessary complexity and allowing users to interact confidently with clear, predictable costs.

CROSSx DEX Fee Structure

In traditional exchanges, fees are typically classified as:

  • Maker: An order that adds liquidity (e.g., limit orders). Usually receives a lower fee.
  • Taker: An order that removes liquidity (e.g., market orders). Typically pays a higher fee.

Currently, CROSSx DEX does not distinguish between maker and taker roles.
The platform adopts a flat-rate fee model for simplicity. A maker-taker structure may be introduced in the future as the platform evolves.

Asset Interaction Fees

  • Token Acquisition Fee: Free
When acquiring tokens on CROSSx DEX, no fee is charged.

  • Token Release Fee: 0.99%
When releasing (i.e., submitting tokens in exchange for others), a 0.99% fee on the total transaction value is applied. This rate is designed to be competitive and user-friendly.

Key Characteristics of CROSSx DEX Fees

CROSSx DEX's fee model offers the following benefits:

  • Minimized Entry Barrier
With zero fees for acquisition, users can engage without upfront cost concerns.

  • Clear and Predictable Structure
A straightforward fee system reduces confusion and ensures a consistent user experience.

  • Supports Sustainable Development
Reasonable fees contribute to platform enhancements and liquidity provider incentives.

  • Competitive in the Market
Compared to other environments, the fee structure is highly competitive and reflects user-first design.

⚠️

Note: All fees are calculated and processed through on-chain smart contracts, not by the app.
The CROSSx app does not handle payments or custody and serves only as a wallet interface and signing tool.
